Ukraine is Open for Business

Despite the war with Russia, Ukraine is open for business. In fact, Ukraine has a lot to offer foreign partners – to mutual benefit. By trading with Ukraine, foreign companies improve their supply chain and contribute to helping our economy resist Russian aggression.

For this reason, the International Chamber of Commerce Ukraine (ICC) has begun a global program of bilateral Virtual Trade Missions (VTMs).

Why attend a Virtual Trade Mission to Ukraine?

We recognise that travelling to Ukraine is problematic for the moment, that is why we are promoting VTMs – where foreign companies can meet Ukrainian companies, from all industry sectors, eager to partner with them – without having to come to Ukraine.

What is special about these VTMs?

The VTM initiative is designed to support multiple bi-lateral trade missions with the following characteristics:

1. Very low cost to participate (as delegates and\or as exhibitors).
2. Very user-friendly.
3. The template structure allows for the easy and rapid launch of the VTMs.
4. Presentation programs which are short and pragmatic – based on pre-recorded videos of an average length of 10-12 minutes.
5. The Business Matching Promise (see below).
6. Provide post-event support services to assist cross-border contracts to be concluded.
7. The Exhibition Hall and Presentation program will remain online for 6 months.

How can Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations participate?

ICC Ukraine is happy to work with any National or Bilateral Chamber of Commerce interested in jointly promoting a Virtual Trade Mission to promote trade between our countries; imports and exports. How can companies participate?

Companies have the choice of:

1. Just sending one or more delegates.
2. Having their own Virtual Stand. These make it easier for foreign companies to present their requirements and for Ukrainian companies to engage with them. Thanks to our partnership with TradeTech Solutions Ltd, There are also the following additional benefits:

• The Business Matching Promise: Exhibitors complete a simple Business Matching Form and TradeTech Solutions will provide leads to ten Ukrainian companies that fit their requirements.
• The Virtual Stand will remain online for 12 months as a Multilingual Microsite (in 35 languages) directing traffic to their home website.

What else is organised?

In addition to the Exhibition Hall where companies can meet potential suppliers and partners, there will also be:

1. An auditorium with presentations from Ukrainian Trade Organisations and Support Service Providers.
2. The opportunity to have one-to-one conversations with other delegates.
3. An area in the Exhibition Hall where import\export consultants and logistics experts can be found.

The future?

Reconstruction will lead to massive export opportunities for companies that have established relationships with Ukrainian partners. The presentations will also detail the opportunities for foreign companies.
